Inventory Control
Visual AccountMate Inventory Control gives you the power of a complete inventory management system, including the ability to define each inventory item's cost method, unit-of-measurement, warehouse and bin location. You can assign serial numbers to inventory items; define multiple substitutes for an item; record transfers of units from one item to a similar item, or to the same item in a different warehouse; list all the vendors that supply a particular item, or all the items supplied by a particular vendor; copy inventory items to another company; and facilitate physical inventory counts.

Manufacturer's Inventory
With Visual AccountMate Manufacturer's Inventory, you can create work orders and explode jobs into virtually unlimited levels of raw material, labor, machine and subassembly components. You can break large jobs into multiple starting dates; post work-in-process automatically or manually; print work orders, routing slips, production slips and a wide variety of reports; and track jobs, resource usage and backorders to the posting of finished jobs and the cancellation of any unused allocated resources. Bills of materials are used to define manufacturing jobs and are supported by the inventory, machine usage and labor usage files.

Inventory Item Specification
If you are a manufacturing concern or an inventory reseller and you need quick, easy, and accurate management of your goods for sale, then Visual AccountMate Inventory Item Specification module is an excellent tool to have on hand. This module allows you to create categories for inventory items, such as size, color, weight and texture. You can then track and price each inventory item by the category created. This allows you to suggest a similar item when a certain specification is not available, thereby increasing sales. Standard item specifications can be easily and quickly applied to any inventory item . Inventory Item Specification is integrated with Inventory Control, Sales Order, Accounts Receivable, Purchase Order and Manufacturer’s Inventory modules.

With Visual AccountMate Kitting, you can add the power of kitting to your Inventory Control module, so that you can create and manage kit items (such as computer components ). Kitting works with Visual AccountMate Accounts Receivable, Sales Order and Purchase Order, just as Inventory Control does.
The Kitting Module is designed for use in the manufacturing industry, where goods are often resold in many different types of formats. This module gives you the power to prepare and track goods being sold whether they are sold individually or as a component of a Kit.

Contact Manager
Visual AccountMate Contact Manager provides a complete, automated system for managing multiple contacts. CM stores all vital business and financial data about contacts and customers; includes an enhanced report designer, contact filters, mail merge and e-mail functions. CM integrates with Sales Order to offer a complete order-entry system providing current customer information.
Features include: Complete contact record information; Up to 48 user-defined fields can be added to contact records; Integration with customer file; Easy-to-use Contact Management Database; Powerful Custom-Report Generator; When CM is linked to VAM AR through SO, users can list invoice and payment transactions entered through the AR module.

Customer Inventory Management
Many customers want to use their own inventory-item numbers, descriptions and units-of-measurement when placing orders for products and services and when receiving and being billed for those products and services. Providing this information is essential to obtain and keep customers. With Visual AccountMate Customer Inventory Manager, you can easily cross-reference your inventory-item numbers, descriptions and units-of-measurement to each customer's required data. You can also automatically update item prices for those customers. Customer Inventory Manager can be integrated with Visual AccountMate Accounts Receivable and Sales Order in order to complete orders and invoicing for customers.

Payroll
With Visual AccountMate Payroll, you can set up records for salaried, hourly and time card/piece work employees, and for independent contractors. You can choose to withhold deductions using different methods. Salaried and hourly employees can be paid using default hours, rates and deductions. The system calculates payroll taxes and prints payroll tax returns, W-2 forms and 1099 forms. Employee and federal tax deposit payments can be made electronically.

Purchase Order
With Visual AccountMate Purchase Order, you have better control over your purchasing activities. You can restrict purchase order functions and have the option to automatically accrue the liability for purchases at the time goods are received, instead of waiting to post the liability through Accounts Payable. The system also allows you to define which inventory items are for resale and which items (such as office supplies) are for in-house use. Two new modules, Price Control and Inventory Item Specification can be integrated with Purchase Order to provide you with the ultimate in detail and flexibility. And when PO is integrated with Visual AccountMate Accounts Payable, you can require that AP invoices be supported by purchase orders before you enter it into the system.

Bank Reconciliation
With Visual AccountMate Bank Reconciliation , reconciling bank accounts is a breeeze-- it allows you to record disbursements, receipts and bank transfers not recorded through other Visual AccountMate modules. It can also indicate which receipts, disbursements and transfers have cleared your banks; and then reconcile your book entries to your bank statements. You can set up and amend bank accounts, and define the currency in which transactions will be shown for each bank account.

Return to Vendor Authorization
The Return To Vendor Authorization (RTV) offers you an accurate and a comprehensive system to manage purchase returns to vendors. With this system, you can create RTV Orders and record important tasks such as shipments of purchase returns and the receipt of substitute or replacement items, among others.
The system computes the gain or loss resulting from replacements or substitute items. With unlimited Returns Codes, you are provided with multiple Return actions to choose from.

Visual AccountMate SQL 5.0 is now integrated with Crystal Reports , one of the most powerful Windows reporting tools available today. All of the VAM/SQL modules have Crystal Reports functionality built right in. The power of Crystal Reports is evident as soon as you access any of the reports available in VAM/SQL 5.0. Crystal Reports allows you to drill-down on line items within a report during preview. You can also modify Crystal Reports using Seagate Crystal Reports Professional, export reports to various email and file formats and go directly to specific line items on any Crystal Report using the Group Tree feature.
